“Der traumhafte Bilderfluss wird mal begleitet, dann unterbrochen und wieder vorangetrieben durch die Tonspur, die Wolfgang in der Wiesche gestaltet hat. Beide Künstler arbeiten seit 2000 gemeinsam und Kurzfilm für Kurzfilm an diesem Programm. Im Entstehungsprozess werden ständig einzelne Bild- und Tonsequenzen hin und her geschickt, Stimmungen und Rhythmen besprochen, das Material allmählich zu einem Film verdichtet. Zwar gibt es für jede Arbeit ein Konzept, es gibt Bilder,  Assoziationen, die Vorstellungen einer bestimmten Atmosphäre, aber was es nicht gibt sind storyboard und happy end. Jede Produktion ist eine langsam tastende Suche nach der richtigen Form. Eigentlich wird da ein Bild gemalt, bei dem einzelne FilmKader und Tonfolgen sich ergänzen und bedingen wie die Pinselstriche auf jener anderen Leinwand, nur kommt noch die Zeit hinzu.”

RAN’S DIARY – the SEXSTORY without love  |  had it’s premiere performance in May 2011 (click for details)

The revised edition of Ran’s Diary (Written/directed by Kyong-ju Park) is the theatre that voices of Korean victim husbands are added to the original one titled Ran’s Diary created with the motif of a diary of a Vietnamese woman who died after coming to Korea through an international marriage like human trafficking. The theatre will be played in two places at the same time, and it will be broadcasted live through smart phones. While members of Salad, a creative group, perform Ran’s Diary on the streets of Daehakro Korean men victimized by international marriage have a talk show in the theater named Haehwadong Ilbeonji. During the time, the performance of Ran’s Diary is played real time on the big screen in the theater. The etiquette that the audience needs to usually observe in the theater is ignored. The audience can watch the performance with turned smart phones and can ask questions to the emcee real time, and the emcee also delivers questions received from the audience to the Korean men victimized by international marriage. Der Filmemacher und Künstler Nikolaus Gojowczyk-Groon betreibt seit Ende der 90-iger Jahre die Filmproduktion groonfilm. Unter seiner Regie entstehen Filme in den Bereichen Videokunst, Musikvideo, Dokumentarfilm, Informationsfilm, Industriefilm, Imagefilm und Werbeclips. Regelmäßig arbeiten dabei Nikolaus Gojowczyk-Groon und Wolfgang in der Wiesche Hand in Hand. Informationen und Ausschnitte aus Filmproduktionen sind ab sofort auf der groonfilm Website abrufbar.

Zur Installation island im WILKE-ATELIER in Bremerhaven schrieb die Nordsee-Zeitung am 24.12.2009:
“Bremerhaven. Der Himmel über der Weser. Die Bäume am Ufer sind kahl, krümmen sich im Wind. Dunkle Wolken künden von kommendem Unheil. Von links schiebt sich ein riesiger Schiffsbug ins Bild, kämpft sich langsam durchs Wasser, die Gischt spritzt hoch.
Diese Szenen stammen aus dem Videofilm, den Wolfgang in der Wiesche während seines Aufenthalts im Wilke-Atelier gedreht hat. Von Anne Stürzer

Die Szenerie wirkt nur auf den ersten Blick bedrohlich. Je länger die Fahrt andauert, desto mehr staunt man darüber, wie es in der Wiesche zusammen mit seinem Co-Autor Nikolaus Gojowczyk-Groon schafft, einen alltäglichen Vorgang in reine Poesie zu verwandeln. So schön kann ein vom Sturm gepeitschter Landstrich sein. Und so majestätisch ein ganz normaler Container.
Am Anfang war die Tonspur. Darauf setzten Wiesche und sein Partner die Bilder. Der Stipendiat, der seit sechs Wochen im Wilke-Atelier lebt, geht sonst oft den umgekehrten Weg. Bei experimentellen Kurzfilmen sorgt er für den Soundtrack. Denn der studierte Maler macht seit früher Kindheit Musik. „Seit damals fahre ich zweigleisig“, sagt er. Mit der Installation „Island“ – Insel – hat er nun zum ersten Mal beides beigesteuert: Bild und Ton.
