I included this video in the post because it’s part of the ‘time travel’: At least one of the recent acrylic paintings in the exhibition refers to my China experience (see cv). 1995 I held the solo exhibition open house in Beijing, shortly after the finissage I flew back to Germany and painted the series TRANSMISSION SUITE. When I decided to display the series for the first time at Allgemeiner Konsumverein, Braunschweig, I remembered that I also had bought the traditional Chinese baby buggy in Beijing back in the ninetees. I decided to transform it into an art object for the exhibition too.
