Dressed completely in white a man gets lost in a luminous void of space. His thoughts spin in spirals. All activity in this vast nothingness shows no result. When he finally settles in a boat for fishing a message pop up in a bottle…

Von Markku Peltola, dem Hauptdarsteller aus Aki Kaurismäkis Film DER MANN OHNE VERGANGENHEIT, stammt die ebenfalls sehr reduzierte Musik

Two men, one bottle. Black and white. Yin and yang. What is empty for one is full for the other. Peltola who is the main character in Aki Kaurismäki’s film The Man Without A Past adds a place- and timeless folk music. With very few notes, it says all there is to say.

ANTI BIOTICS ist die sechste multimediale Arbeit von @wolfgang_in_der_wiesche Wolfgang in Kooperation mit Nikolaus Gojowczyk-Groon. Die Installation verbindet Objekt, Farben, Mehrkanal-Video, Licht und Ton zu einer magischen Situation im abgedunkelten Raum. Im Zentrum schwebt ein Containerschiff, beladen mit farbig befüllten medizinischen Ampullen, das wiederum Licht und Bilder aussendet. Es ist durch schwaches Licht in Szene gesetzt, erscheint aber auch selbstleuchtend. Es sendet Bilder, auf denen nicht nur die Farben tanzen. Die Installation thematisiert über das Künstlerische hinaus das Verhältnis von menschlicher Existenz zu globaler Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft. Als die Arbeit begann, gab es die Corona-Pandemie noch nicht, sie ist nun um einen Aspekt reicher geworden. Ein Work-In-Progress.

ANTI BIOTICS is the sixth multimedia work by @wolfgang_in_der_wiesche Wolfgang in cooperation with Nikolaus Gojowczyk-Groon. The installation combines object, colours, multi-channel video, light and sound to create a magical situation in a darkened room. In the centre floats a container ship, loaded with colour-filled medical ampoules, which in turn emits light and images. It is staged by dim light, but also appears self-luminous. It transmits images on which not only the colours dance. Beyond the artistic, the installation addresses the relationship between human existence and global science and economy. When the work began, the Corona pandemic did not yet exist; it has now been enriched by one aspect. A work-in-progress.
