Videoscreening 1 | Über Bildschirme, großflächigen Projektionen und einer installativen Arbeit werden unterschiedliche Videos und Kunstfilme von KünstlerInnen gezeigt. Dabei handelt es sich um abstrakte, erzählerische, performative und gezeichnete Filme, die das Wochenende ab Freitag, 18.10.2019 bis Sonntag, 20.10.2019 zu sehen sein werden. || Various videos and art films by artists will be shown via screens, large-scale projections and an installative work. These are abstract, narrative, performative and drawn films that will be shown over the weekend from Friday, 18.10.2019 to Sunday, 20.10.2019.

Part of MOSAïC (the end this time: the film was conceived as a work that also works as individual parts) will be part of DIFFRAKTION on Feb. 4 from 8 pm at Silent Green, Berlin-Wedding. Eintritt/ entrance 8 – 10 €

Wie die orientalische Architektur ihren statischen Charakter im ornamentalen Zierat aufgehen lässt, lösen sich im Film Räume auf und erhalten ihrerseits ornamentalen Charakter. MOSAIC ist ein künstlerisches Projekt, eine bewegte Collage fü den Frieden, die kommentarlos Grenzen überschreitet und an vergangenes Zusammenleben erinnert. Die rhythmisch-körperliche Filmkunst der Berliner Filmemacherin Deborah Phillips ist ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis.

“Zur Musik: Es singt Saadet Türköz aus Kasachstan, in Istanbul aufgewachsen, – ein Volkslied und islamische Gebete; im letzten Drittel singen zwei Kantoren einer marokkanischen Synagoge jüdische Psalmen: David Suissa und Jacob Wizman. Die Musik hat … Wolfgang in der Wiesche komponiert, der die musikalischen Motive und die begleitenden Instrumente aufgreift und in die eigene Komposition einarbeitet. Er unterstreicht die filmischen Verfahren mit eigenen Elementen, die Kamerakreise im ersten Teil durch eine Art Knarren eines Rades, das bei jeder Umdrehung ein Geräusch von sich gibt, im zweiten Teil meint man, das Schnarren von Zahnrädern zu hören, während im dritten Teil die Überlagerungen des Verschiedenartigen sich wie Radiosignale in die Welt gesandt anhören, die in ein Netz von Surrtönen eingebunden werden. Wie von weit her durch die Mauern eindringend kann man noch Straßengeräusche hören. Und als das einzige Lebewesen, eine Katze, im Bild auftaucht, hören wir die beiden Kantore miteinander reden. So bindet die Musik die Bilder wieder in ein Alltagsleben ein.” (Angela Haardt)
