Das Zusammenbringen von Musik, Malerei und Zeichnung ist schon lange die tagtägliche Arbeit des Aachener Künstlers Wolfgang in der Wiesche, der gleichermaßen malt und komponiert. In seiner aktuellen Ausstellung in der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz zeigt er nun neue Bilder, die sich etwa der Darstellung und dem Verschwinden des Schalls widmen und gleichzeitig gesellschaftskritische Themen aufgreifen.
Unter dem Titel „Iso 9613-1 I Klingt so Suite“ beschäftigt er sich malerisch mit der Dämpfung des Schalls bei der Ausbreitung im Freien, also der Absorption des Schalls in der Luft und durch die Luft. Mit der Frage nach der Endlichkeit von Schall, Klang und damit auch Musik verknüpft er die Frage nach der Endlichkeit des Sehens und integriert politische Fragen in Themen der Physik und Philosophie.
Hauptsächlich geht es ihm dabei um die Möglichkeiten, den derzeit gewaltigen gesellschaftlichen Polarisierungen zu entkommen und offene Systeme zu finden und zu diskutieren, die mehr Vielfalt und Verantwortung bieten. Damit erweitert Wolfgang in der Wiesche den Themenkatalog von Musik- und Kunstwelten enorm und macht seine Kunst zum Transportmittel brennender Fragen und notwendiger Antworten.
Wolfgang in der Wiesche ist Malerei-Meisterschüler der Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig und lebte und arbeitete viele Jahre unter anderem in Indien und China und stellte in vielen Ländern Europas und Asiens aus. Die Ausstellung in der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, Theaterplatz 16, hängt bis zum 23. Dezember 2018 im Foyer und den angrenzenden Fluren und kann täglich zwischen 9 und 21.30 Uhr besichtigt werden.

Bringing together music, painting and drawing has long been the regular work of the Aachen artist Wolfgang in der Wiesche, who both paints and composes. In his current exhibition at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, he now shows new pictures that are dedicated to the depiction and disappearance of sound, for example, while at the same time addressing socially critical themes.
Titled “Iso 9613-1 | Klingt so Suite” he painterly deals with the damping of sound during propagation outdoors, i.e. the absorption of sound in the air and through the air. With the question of the finiteness of sound, sound and thus also music, he links the question of the finiteness of seeing and integrates political questions into topics of physics and philosophy.
His main focus is on the possibilities of escaping the currently enormous social polarizations and finding and discussing open systems that offer more diversity and responsibility. Thus Wolfgang in der Wiesche expands the catalogue of themes of music and art worlds enormously and turns his art into a means of transporting burning questions and necessary answers.
Wolfgang in der Wiesche is a master student in painting at the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts and has lived and worked for many years in India and China, among other places, and has exhibited in many European and Asian countries. … (sorry for any mistakes in the translation)
